RESTON, Va.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--SLM Corporation (NYSE: SLM), commonly known as Sallie Mae, today announced that it will release 2008 fourth-quarter earnings results after the close of the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009. Sallie Mae Vice Chairman and CEO Albert Lord and Vice Chairman and CFO Jack Remondi will host a conference call for shareholders at 8 a.m. EST on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009.
