Fri, December 19, 2008 American Scientific Resources Announces Plans For Annual Meeting of Shareholders
WESTON, Fla.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--American Scientific Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ASFX), today announced that its annual meeting of shareholders will commence on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 5pm EST at the offices of the Southridge Investment Group, 800 Third Avenue, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10022.
As of November, the Company informed their shareholders of record, via US mail, of their intent to hold the annual meeting, and urged them to recommend a vote for the election of directors and to ratify the engagement of an independent auditor.
Proxies should be returned via fax to Stalt, Inc. ([ http://www.stalt.com/ ]) at 650-321-7113, and must not arrive later than Tuesday, December 23 at 12pm EST or the vote will not be counted. The faxed sheet must include the personal control number, number of shares, and phone number. If the stock certification is in the name of a business, or trust, a resolution is needed giving the person who signed the proxy permission to do so.
