Beverage Pouch Group, owner of the ShotPak® brands of ready to drink cocktails and STR8UP® spirits, announces support of the search for America's next Lip-Sync Star. America's Lip-Sync Star offers all San Diego residents 21 years and older the chance to be the star they always wanted to be. Nationwide auditions begin at Canes Bar and Grill on June 2nd.

ShotPak® is a bold new concept in casual drinking. Each drink is an individually packaged, ready to drink portable party pleaser sold in a laminated, StandUp travel pouch. The ShotPak® brand has revolutionized the single-serve, RTD alcohol category by introducing a single shot of flavored cocktails and STR8UP® spirits in a lightweight, flexible and patented StandUp pouch. ShotPak® is a single-serving, ready-to-drink cocktail that comes in a patented pouch. The 1.7-ounce shots are designed and marketed as an easy way to carry drinks during on-the-go activities like boating, traveling or attending sporting events. The drinks are also aimed at nightclubs where ShotPak® brands are currently sold.

The ShotPak® products fall into two categories: mixed drinks, such as "Purple Hooter" (a raspberry and vodka mix) and "Lemon Drop" (vodka and lemon), and the straight shots line of "STR8UP®" drinks, which are made of straight liquor such as whiskey, vodka, rum and tequila.

The nationwide search kicks off at Canes in Mission Beach on June 2, 2009, at 8PM. Additional contests will be held every Tuesday night for the following seven weeks culminating with the Grand Finals on week eight, Tuesday, July 21, 2009.

Contestants will be judged on Lip-Sync ability, appearance, use of the microphone and audience response. First and second place preliminary winners will receive cash prizes. The Grand Prize will be an eight day, seven night stay at an RCI luxury condo anywhere in the world, plus cash prizes will be awarded to contest winners for their efforts.

Winners from each contest will advance to one of eight regional final competitions where the top vote getters may appear on America's Lip-Sync Star television series. The series will feature competitions of look-alike impersonators who Lip-Sync the lyrics to some of the world's most famous music stars.
