MONTREAL--(Marketwire - June 10, 2009) - LEVEL Vision Electronics Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: [ LVLV ]) announced today that it will begin production of 1,000 units of its new Series of entry level handsets for the purpose of Telco homologation.

LEVEL's production is due to commence in the coming weeks for a series of newly designed entry level phones focused towards but not limited to the emerging markets. These models have been announced in a previous Press Release dated May 20th, 2009 and use ULC and ULC-2 low cost solutions. The homologation units will be submitted to established relationships as well as current new ones in development and are targeted for Q4-2009 and 2010 release. The homologation process is key to wireless handsets becoming "network approved" by the Telcos and having the Telco distribute the product.

The sample production run will go to regions in the Caribbean, Mexico, Latin America, the Middle East and regions of Africa.

"Our new Series of entry level, low cost handset solutions are targeted towards markets left virtually untouched by larger companies. Those regions can represent sizeable orders and translate into profits for a growing company, aiming to carve a niche in markets that are in dire need of communication," said Jean-Francois Lefebvre, Vice President of LEVEL Vision Electronics Ltd.
