Press Release

XCHANGING RENEWS CONTRACT WITH MAJOR WEST COAST TRANSIT SERVICE COMPANY To continue to providing workers' compensation claims administration services

AC Transit, a well-known regional public transit agency in California, has renewed its workers' compensation services contract with Xchanging (LSE: XCH), a global business processor. The contract renewal is a multi-year agreement. This will be Xchanging's 11(th) year of providing workers' compensation claims administration services to AC Transit.

AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) is a special district, organized under the laws of the State of California. It provides public transit service to approximately 220,000 daily commuters with a fleet of more than 640 buses. The district's service area extends from Western Contra Costa County to Southern Alameda County. It has approximately 2,300 employees and is financed through the receipt of transit fares, property taxes, state and federal funding.

Xchanging serves AC Transit from its Concord, California office. A dedicated team of workers' compensation claims processing experts investigates each claim, administers the appropriate level of benefits in close consultation with AC Transit, and settles the claims. In event of litigation, Xchanging interacts with the settlement authority and a select panel of defense counsel, on behalf of AC Transit, to strategize the best solution.

Jane Tutoki, President of Xchanging Americas said, "We are delighted that Xchanging continues to be the provider of choice for AC Transit. This renewal exemplifies the customer's confidence in Xchanging's high quality of claims administration services. We look forward to further building and growing this long-term relationship".
