DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - April 1, 2009) - Roomlinx, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ RMLX ]), the hospitality in-room expert providing Internet-based Business, Media and Entertainment solutions, announced that it has posted its first ever Interactive TV revenues.

Roomlinx has been focusing its efforts on building and promoting its revolutionary Interactive TV product. Roomlinx reported $2,196,712 in total revenue for 2008 of which 15% of this revenue came from sales generated during only 3 months of offering the Media and Entertainment product and services. Total Operating loss for the year was $1,807,223 and total operating loss excluding non-cash expenses was $1,189,680. At fiscal year end 2008 the company had $1,941,215 in cash in order to help with the ramp up in sales of the Interactive TV product.

"Roomlinx is focused on generating healthy revenues and profits within its Media and Entertainment division. We see a very strong opportunity within this market segment thanks to this new product line," said Mike Wasik, CEO.

Roomlinx Interactive TV allows hotel guests to access HD content (Hollywood, adult, specialty); high speed internet, book reservations, listen to their MP3Player, watch a DVD, access world radio and TV programming, play games, and work on their business applications all through a 32" - 47" LCD HDTV in a hotel guest room.

"Over the last 30 years, my team has infiltrated the hospitality market and has become quite astute on what is considered to be cutting-edge in hospitality -- from the academic arena to lodging/gaming and restaurants. As a hospitality professor at Roosevelt University, Chicago for 37 years, I've done my fair share of research, but it didn't take a lot of study to see that Roomlinx Interactive TV is the technology of the future. Why? Because Roomlinx can reinvent itself based on market and demographic demands," stated Dr. Charles Hamburg of Roosevelt University, Chicago.

The Roomlinx Interactive TV product can generate revenues from the following sources: Monthly service fees, Installation fees, Guest access fees, Pay per view content fees, Printing fees, Advertising, and E-commerce.

"Our Interactive TV product gives the hotel the ability to generate additional revenue and increase guest satisfaction," stated Wasik. "We have been very well received within the hospitality industry and I anticipate this to be the tip of the iceberg."
