Asia Now Resources Corp.: Dr. Noel White Becomes Asia Now's Chief Technical Advisor

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 9, 2009) - Asia Now Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NOW) announced today that Dr. Noel White is taking on the role of Chief Technical Advisor and will step down from Asia Now's board of directors. Douglas Scharf, Chairman, stated "The Board has reluctantly accepted Dr. White's resignation. His contribution as a director of Asia Now was outstanding."

Dr. White is a founder of Asia Now and has invested over 5 years in building the Company. During this time, Dr. White has been an active and key member of the Asia Now team as both a director and consultant to the Company. He has been instrumental in the Company's development from a private exploration company to a public company, helping develop it with world class standards of operation through aggressive exploration programs on the key projects in China.

Dr. White has made it very clear that he is not departing from Asia Now, especially at this critical juncture where the Beiya and Habo projects are demonstrating great value. Dr. White has determined that his energy and time would be better spent focusing on helping the Company advance its exploration., both by advancing existing projects, and evaluating potential opportunities.
