ASHBURN, VA--(Marketwire - May 12, 2009) - GuestMetrics, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ GESM ]) is pleased to announce that the Company has had a 40% increase in its consumer tracking coverage for the New York City area during the first Quarter of 2009, as compared to the fourth Quarter of last year. This increase is mostly due to the expansion of NYC restaurants, bars and nightclubs, utilizing the Company's point of sale data collection system. The actual total number of transactions is estimated to have decreased, due to of the slowdown in the economy since last year, however, by adding more customers using GuestMetrics' system, the total transactions the Company captured has substantially increased.

GuestMetrics has managed to bring about sustained growth and market penetration in the restaurants and bars in this important and highly visible market segment. It is estimated that the NYC area restaurants and bars utilizing the Company's solutions now account for over 12,000,000 transactions annually.
