OAKVILLE, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) - Pethealth Inc. ("Pethealth" or the "Company") (TSX:PTZ), is pleased to announce that Mr W. Brian Edwards has joined the Board of Pethealth. Mr Edwards is a well known entrepreneur and Chairman of the Board of Miranda Technologies Inc., a high-performance developer and manufacturer of hardware and software for the television broadcast industry worldwide. He is the founder of one of North America's most successful electronic commerce companies, BCE Emergis previously MPACT Immedia, and was Chief Executive Officer from 1988 to 2002. Mr Edwards is also Chairman of the Board of Biotonix Inc. and is a member of the Board of Directors of Camoplast Inc. of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Impath Networks Canada Corporation of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Transat A.T. Inc. of Montreal, Quebec.
Mr Edwards is very active in the community and is Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of Concordia University, the Concordia University Foundation and eConcordia Inc. He is also a past Co-Chairman of the Centraide (United Way, Quebec) of Greater Montreal campaign. Mr Edwards holds a B.Comm. from Concordia University.
