Initial Skyline Gold 2010 Bronson Slope Drill Program Assays Include 3.9 Metres Grading 12 Grams Per Tonne Gold and 1.43 Metres
RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) - Skyline Gold Corporation ("the Company") (TSX VENTURE:SK), a company engaged in the exploration and development of its Bronson Slope porphyry style gold-copper deposit in north western British Columbia's 'Golden Triangle', is pleased to announce the first assay results from its 2010 diamond drilling exploration program. Drilling is situated approximately 1,500 m south east of the Bronson Slope deposit, on the "Snip-1" claim and on-trend with the Bronson Slope deposit mineralization.
Assay results for hole SK-10-01, which includes screen for metallics analysis for all initial gold fire assay values over 1.0 gram/tonne (g/t) gold, are summarized below:

Visible gold and electrum were observed in the drill core.
Hole SK-10-01 dips beneath and on the same azimuth as drill hole SK-09-02 and both are drilled from the same drill pad. Hole SK-10-01 was drilled to 204 m at an azimuth of 060º to true north and a dip of -70º from horizontal.
Drilling was initiated on May 31 and, through to June 11, a total of 1,350 meters (m) were drilled. Drilling was then paused while preliminary assay, induced polarization geophysical survey, and other data were then reviewed followed by further exploration planning. Drilling resumed on June 19 and continues.
The 2010 exploration drilling cross-cuts the trend of mineralization that was identified on surface. The drill core contains mineralization consisting of disseminated to semi-massive and massive textured sulphides including pyrite, sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite and minor pyrrhotite with occasional instances of visible gold and electrum. This mineral assemblage is typical of occurrences that form in the haloes of porphyry copper-gold deposits; however, the high sulphidation character implies a "transition" to a separate mesothermal to epithermal style system. The host rocks are fine grained volcaniclastic sedimentary rocks.
