CLIFTON, N.J.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--ITT Corporation (NYSE:ITT) announced the completion of successful factory acceptance testing on its coastal surveillance radar system upgrade for the Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV).

The Reliability and Modification (REMO) 870 upgrade program is based on ITTa™s new LCR-2020 integrated coastal surveillance radar system. With this adaptation of radar technology, ITT now offers customers an end-to-end radar, command, control and communications solution. Using this system, which increases awareness through an integrated network of radars, the customer can detect and intercept intruders more effectively, even in the harshest coastal marine environments.

The production of the radar system will be completed at ITTa™s electronic systems business in Van Nuys, Calif.
