March 14, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5532 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1862 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3971 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bearish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices dropped. iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), General Electric Company (NYSE:GE), iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund (NYSE:EWJ), Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F), Mondelez International Inc. (NASDAQ:MDLZ). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  EEM $-0.220 -0.01% 22,932,873 40.99% 19,700,658 35.22% 3,232,215 Abnormal
  GE $-0.290 -0.01% 9,295,514 41.23% 7,063,703 31.33% 2,231,811 Abnormal
  EWJ $-0.360 -0.01% 10,393,944 78.29% 1,924,141 14.49% 8,469,803 Abnormal
  INTC $-0.020 -0.00% 11,410,339 40.00% 9,493,965 33.28% 1,916,374 Abnormal
  F $-0.010 -0.00% 10,753,011 39.92% 7,303,993 27.12% 3,449,018 Abnormal
  MDLZ $-0.350 -0.01% 4,288,421 43.59% 1,571,424 15.97% 2,716,997 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more buying than selling on Tuesday and their stock prices dropped. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows EEM with 3,232,215 greater shares of buying than selling (NetVol) and the stock price was down $-0.22000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more buying than selling should cause prices to rise.
