Mahdia Gold Corp (CNSX:MGD) Announces Non-Brokered Private Placement
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 2, 2012) - Mahdia Gold Corp. (CNSX:MGD) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has arranged a non-brokered private placement of up to 14,000,000 common shares at a price of CAD $0.25 per share for gross proceeds of up to CAD $3,500,000 (the "Offering"). All common shares issued in the Offering will have a hold period in Canada of four months and a day from the closing of the Offering. The Company may pay a finder's fee in connection with a portion of the Offering equal to 8% in cash or securities. There will not be any change of control as a result of the Offering.
The net proceeds from the Offering are intended to be used to fund the Company's exploration activities in Guyana and for general working capital.
Completion of the Offering is subject to the acceptance for filing thereof by the Canadian National Stock Exchange.
