Blackhawk Resource Corp. Closes Sale of Bodo Property
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 8, 2012) - Blackhawk Resource Corp. ("Blackhawk" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:BLR), is pleased to announce the closing of the sale of one of its Bodo properties to an arm's length party. This sale was previously announced on April 24, 2012. The Bodo property, which holds one producing well, has average net production of 56.5 barrels of oil per day. Gross proceeds of approximately $6,000,000 were received on the sale.
The Corporation still maintains a number of operated and non-operated properties in Central Alberta with average net production of 55 barrels equivalent of oil per day. The Corporation currently has working capital of approximately $4,300,000 and no debt. The Corporation continues to evaluate resource opportunities in both Canada and the US.
