November 30, 2010 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 1113 companies with "abnormal" market making, 783 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1401 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage loss per share Tuesday and low price friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. ELEPHANT TALK COMMUNICATIONS (OTCBB:ETAK), CHINA BAK BATTERY INC (NASDAQ:CBAK), CHINA MEDICAL TECH-SPON ADR (NASDAQ:CMED), BIOVEST INTERNATIONAL INC (OTC:BVTI), BALLARD POWER SYSTEMS INC (NASDAQ:BLDP), BSD MEDICAL CORP (NASDAQ:BSDM). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     ETAK $-0.300 -9.09% 109,030 40.35% 161,151 59.65% -52,121 -1,737
     CBAK $-0.260 -12.15% 401,717 41.36% 569,457 58.64% -167,740 -6,452
     CMED $-1.970 -14.53% 612,710 43.43% 767,878 54.43% -155,168 -788
     BVTI $-0.140 -11.02% 99,799 38.46% 143,791 55.42% -43,992 -3,142
     BLDP $-0.160 -10.88% 236,352 39.52% 361,252 60.40% -124,900 -7,806
     BSDM $-0.550 -11.51% 1,219,195 46.96% 1,376,949 53.04% -157,754 -2,868

Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar losses (Change) and extremely low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BSDM with a dollar loss Tuesday of $-0.55000 and a Friction Factor of -2,868 shares. That means that it only took 2,868 more shares of selling than buying to move BSDM lower by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to drop quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and negative market direction can drive prices lower faster than normal.
