Gleacher & Company Further Expands Equity Healthcare Team

NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Gleacher & Company Securities, Inc., a broker-dealer subsidiary of Gleacher & Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: GLCH), today announced another addition to its Healthcare Research team with the hiring of Sung Ji Nam.

Ms. Nam joins Gleacher & Company from JP Morgan where she worked for the last four years on a team that covered 25 names in the Life Science Tools, Contract Research Organizations, Diagnostics, and Medical Devices spaces. At Gleacher & Company, she will be focused on Life Science Tools companies which will complement the firma™s existing Medical Devices and Diagnostics practice headed by Amit Hazan.

Ms. Nam is a graduate of the Harvard Business School. Prior to attending business school, she worked as an investment banking associate at Robertson Stephens. Ms. Nam received her BA in Chemistry, magna cum laude, from Harvard College.
