FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - January 6, 2010) - Sanswire (OTCBB: [ SNSR ])

Dear Shareholders,

For Sanswire, 2009 was a year of great progress and achievement. In 2010, we intend to build on the solid foundation we established, and with the arrival of the New Year, management believes this is an appropriate time to review our accomplishments and to set out the milestones for 2010.

On the product side, the major news was the design and construction of the STS-111, an airship that was developed in response to demands from partners seeking immediate solutions to operational challenges. In 2009, Sanswire:

-- Entered into partnership with Global Telesat Corp. and raised the funds needed to commence construction of the STS-111 -- Executed an agreement with a top 10 US defense contractor to handle the systems integration phase of development and overall operations of the STS- 111 in the field -- Conducted a private demonstration of the STS-111 in Stuttgart, Germany

With respect to our technology, we are quite proud of the program's progress. During 2009, we:

-- Conducted multiple flights to test various Sanswire-TAO platforms, including flight testing of our proprietary fuel gas propulsion system -- Designed and developed an automatic trim system (ATS) utilized to improve the airship's flight characteristics during flight -- Furthered the development of our in-house designed Autonomous Flight Control System -- Designed and demonstrated our 4-segment STS-111 platform and commenced construction of the commercial platform, a 5-segment version of the STS-111 airship

On the corporate side, we engaged an independent Board of Directors and stregnthened our senior management team resulting in bringing our public filings up to date. We are now listed on the Bulletin Board, and have more than doubled our market capitalization in 2009. In addition, we have engaged with outside accounting and communications experts to aid in growing Sanswire:

-- We engaged a top accounting firm, NYC-based Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP -- We hired The Investor Relations Group, an award-winning investor relations and public relations firm with experience in security issues. Thanks to IRG's efforts, we have received radio and tv coverage, and were featured in various industry leading professional publications, such as IEEE Spectrum, Aviation Week, and the Smithsonian's Air & Space Magazine

Looking ahead, our 2010 goals are ambitious but achievable as we plan to add more talent to our executive team and Board of Directors. As for our products, we anticipate 2010 will be a watershed year:

-- We expect to complete the construction of the commercial 5-segment STS- 111, the industry's first multi-day endurance UAV, and begin long-endurance high-altitude testing in Germany -- We plan to unveil the commercial STS-111 airship to the US public at an event to be held at the Sanford International Airport in Orlando, FL, during the second quarter of this year -- After that event, we will ship the commercial STS-111 to our partner for systems integration and operational training -- In collaboration with our systems integration and operations partner, we plan to conduct a series of demonstrations for potential customers -- We will continue the effort to locate a manufacturing facility in the United States and to increase lobbying efforts to attain assistance from Federal, State and Local governments -- We plan to expand our commercial business partnerships as industry applications of the commercial STS-111 platform become more widely known -- We plan to work closely with our current alliances in pursuing contracts for the commercial STS-111 -- We expect to begin construction of the STS-230 and continue the development of the company's high altitude program and carry out our plans to produce a commercial High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) platform

This summarizes Sanswire's achievements over the past 12 months and outlines our vision for 2010. 2009 was a very eventful year, and it would not have been possible without the hard work of our staff, the expertise of our engineering team, and above all, the support of our shareholders.

Sincerely, The Executive Management Team and Board of Directors Sanswire Corp.
