MASS Petroleum, Inc.: MASS Petroleum Corporate Update
LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - September 8, 2009) - MASS Petroleum, Inc. (
MASS Petroleum has shifted its focus from Russia to North America to take advantage of stable low to medium risk opportunities that have emerged due to current economic conditions. MASS is currently in the process of acquiring several producing oil and gas assets in Western Canada. The target acquisitions offer both a stable production base and low risk drilling opportunities. This healthy combination provides MASS with steady cash flow for continued exploration and development in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Canada's proven oil reserves are well developed and hold more than 175 billion barrels of oil. The Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin area is politically stable and has been a major oil producer for many decades.
MASS Petroleum's primary objective is to:
-- Make strategic acquisitions balanced with focused exploration and development plans; -- Build core production areas with significant undeveloped land, high working interest and/or operatorship; -- Balanced light oil and gas portfolio with large scalable reserves; -- Focus on high Working Interest (WI) projects with upside drilling prospect. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Gary Chayko President, MASS Petroleum, Inc.
