  • Gold: Gold prices increased by approximately 10% over the year, so Rs 1 lakh invested in gold would have appreciated to Rs 1.10 lakh.

  • Real Estate: Real estate markets showed mixed results, with some regions experiencing growth while others remained flat or slightly declined. Assuming a moderate growth of 5%, the investment would be worth Rs 1.05 lakh.

    The article highlights the importance of diversification, noting that while stocks provided the highest returns, they also come with higher risk, whereas debt and gold offer stability and act as a hedge against inflation and market volatility.
