May 16, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5403 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3057 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2907 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Tuesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index Fund (NYSE:FXI), Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), Kimco Realty Corporation (NYSE:KIM), AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), GGP Inc. (NYSE:GGP). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  FXI $-0.090 -0.00% 4,650,786 25.39% 6,902,125 37.68% -2,251,339 -250,149
  CMCSA $-0.150 -0.00% 4,335,145 24.41% 9,299,080 52.35% -4,963,935 -330,929
  BAC $-0.070 -0.00% 17,503,301 31.62% 22,714,235 41.04% -5,210,934 -744,419
  KIM $-0.790 -0.04% 1,449,814 23.48% 3,263,059 52.85% -1,813,245 -22,952
  T $-0.240 -0.01% 6,615,509 30.70% 9,759,467 45.28% -3,143,958 -130,998
  GGP $-0.160 -0.01% 3,191,215 28.16% 5,308,254 46.83% -2,117,039 -132,315
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows FXI down $-0.09000 with a Friction Factor of -250,149 and a Net Volume of -2,251,339. That means that it takes 250,149 more shares of selling than buying to drop FXI by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
