May 16, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5403 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3057 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2907 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO), iShares MSCI EAFE Index (NYSE:EFA), Corning Inc. (NYSE:GLW), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), Firesteel Resources Inc (NASDAQ:FTR), Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. (NYSE:SMFG). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  CSCO $0.080 0.00% 8,469,267 45.31% 5,433,788 29.07% 3,035,479 379,435
  EFA $0.360 0.01% 9,924,397 45.62% 7,065,098 32.48% 2,859,299 79,425
  GLW $0.270 0.01% 6,132,062 64.36% 1,906,863 20.01% 4,225,199 156,489
  GDX $0.160 0.01% 13,496,760 42.69% 10,392,264 32.87% 3,104,496 194,031
  FTR $0.060 0.05% 19,365,917 40.17% 16,539,343 34.31% 2,826,574 471,096
  SMFG $0.040 0.01% 4,365,964 88.83% 266,358 5.42% 4,099,606 1,024,902
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CSCO with a Net Buy Volume of 3,035,479 shares and a Friction Factor of 379,435 shares. That means that it takes 379,435 more shares of buying than selling to move CSCO higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
