May 16, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5403 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3057 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2907 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Tuesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Sina Corporation (NASDAQ:SINA), MannKind Corp (NASDAQ:MNKD), Weibo Corporation (NASDAQ:WB), Lightbridge Corporation (NASDAQ:LTBR), One Horizon Group Inc. (NASDAQ:OHGI), AXIM Biotechnologies Inc. (OTC:AXIM). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  SINA $14.810 0.18% 3,309,121 31.09% 3,169,242 29.78% 139,879 94
  MNKD $0.215 0.20% 3,551,771 42.63% 3,143,172 37.72% 408,599 19,005
  WB $15.680 0.25% 4,667,182 34.07% 4,311,385 31.48% 355,797 227
  LTBR $0.390 0.27% 481,413 40.30% 401,685 33.63% 79,728 2,044
  OHGI $0.230 0.24% 142,150 39.22% 130,071 35.89% 12,079 525
  AXIM $2.940 0.38% 134,986 51.84% 103,665 39.81% 31,321 107
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows SINA with a dollar gain Tuesday of $14.81000 and a Friction Factor of 94 shares. That means that it only took 94 more shares of buying than selling to move SINA higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
