March 27, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5689 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3054 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2635 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO), Newell Rubbermaid Inc. (NYSE:NWL), Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), iShares Silver Trust (NYSE:SLV), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), U.S. Stem Cell Inc. (OTC:USRM). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  KO $0.200 0.01% 4,692,554 36.99% 2,693,995 21.24% 1,998,559 99,928
  NWL $0.040 0.00% 2,439,768 49.40% 716,568 14.51% 1,723,200 430,800
  MSFT $0.220 0.00% 7,990,847 43.50% 4,229,845 23.03% 3,761,002 170,955
  SLV $0.330 0.02% 5,346,562 44.65% 2,490,459 20.80% 2,856,103 86,549
  GDX $0.510 0.02% 30,291,343 42.49% 14,748,533 20.69% 15,542,810 304,761
  USRM $0.018 0.22% 18,906,288 53.11% 16,674,617 46.84% 2,231,671 1,239,817
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows KO with a Net Buy Volume of 1,998,559 shares and a Friction Factor of 99,928 shares. That means that it takes 99,928 more shares of buying than selling to move KO higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
