March 27, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5689 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3054 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2635 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Monday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Impax Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ:IPXL), Superconductor Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:SCON), Cellect Biotech Shs Sponsored American Depositary Share Repr 20 Shs (NASDAQ:APOP), Regulus Therapeutic Inc. (NASDAQ:RGLS), Marathon Patent Group Inc. (NASDAQ:MARA), APOP/Cell Wt 21 (NASDAQ:APOPW). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  IPXL $3.650 0.40% 5,029,664 40.70% 4,734,684 38.31% 294,980 808
  SCON $0.310 0.24% 1,848,000 39.53% 1,810,676 38.73% 37,324 1,204
  APOP $4.720 0.75% 2,915,615 32.09% 2,881,558 31.71% 34,057 72
  RGLS $0.300 0.21% 1,496,413 39.27% 1,075,093 28.21% 421,320 14,044
  MARA $0.210 0.25% 280,648 39.69% 259,045 36.63% 21,603 1,029
  APOPW $2.560 2.44% 202,808 27.79% 166,767 22.85% 36,041 141
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows IPXL with a dollar gain Monday of $3.65000 and a Friction Factor of 808 shares. That means that it only took 808 more shares of buying than selling to move IPXL higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
