March 1, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5201 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4471 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2027 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), SPDR S&P 500 (NYSE:SPY), Visa Inc. (NYSE:V), Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE:BMY), Rocky Mountain High Brands Inc. (PINK:RMHB). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $0.670 0.03% 31,730,001 34.79% 25,657,022 28.13% 6,072,979 90,641
  EEM $0.590 0.02% 41,327,222 42.82% 20,543,720 21.28% 20,783,502 352,263
  SPY $3.200 0.01% 28,152,727 22.47% 24,053,525 19.20% 4,099,202 12,810
  V $0.860 0.01% 4,782,493 41.03% 1,942,563 16.67% 2,839,930 33,022
  BMY $0.390 0.01% 6,026,479 37.84% 2,645,224 16.61% 3,381,255 86,699
  RMHB $0.028 0.25% 8,199,953 64.15% 4,581,443 35.84% 3,618,510 1,292,325
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF with a Net Buy Volume of 6,072,979 shares and a Friction Factor of 90,641 shares. That means that it takes 90,641 more shares of buying than selling to move XLF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
