December 20, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5515 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3583 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2700 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Tuesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Calavo Growers Inc (NASDAQ:CVGW), Tvia Inc (Old) (NASDAQ:TVIA), CARBO Ceramics Inc. (NYSE:CRR), GulfMark Offshore Inc. (NYSE:GLF), Alcobra (NASDAQ:ADHD), KLR Energy Wts 20 (NASDAQ:KLREW). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  CVGW $8.860 0.16% 216,124 30.41% 204,794 28.82% 11,330 13
  TVIA $0.250 0.24% 755,658 38.36% 669,083 33.96% 86,575 3,463
  CRR $1.280 0.14% 612,909 38.07% 586,681 36.44% 26,228 205
  GLF $0.450 0.26% 880,801 42.19% 772,337 36.99% 108,464 2,410
  ADHD $0.370 0.18% 871,902 42.43% 776,482 37.79% 95,420 2,579
  KLREW $0.980 2.18% 268,139 30.45% 195,466 22.20% 72,673 742
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CVGW with a dollar gain Tuesday of $8.86000 and a Friction Factor of 13 shares. That means that it only took 13 more shares of buying than selling to move CVGW higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
