November 18, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 5524 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2889 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3021 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Kimco Realty Corporation (NYSE:KIM), Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE:WFC), iShares Floating Rate Note (NYSE:FLOT), Coty Inc. (NYSE:COTY), iSh 0-5 HY Corp Shs (NYSE:SHYG), Paragon Offshore PLC (OTC:PGNPQ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  KIM $0.040 0.00% 3,768,537 68.58% 695,821 12.66% 3,072,716 768,179
  WFC $0.430 0.01% 10,084,862 34.26% 8,370,499 28.44% 1,714,363 39,869
  FLOT $0.010 0.00% 3,126,074 92.79% 168,661 5.01% 2,957,413 2,957,413
  COTY $0.150 0.01% 2,981,622 45.14% 1,455,306 22.03% 1,526,316 101,754
  SHYG $0.090 0.00% 2,370,002 83.96% 199,484 7.07% 2,170,518 241,169
  PGNPQ $0.050 0.28% 2,369,809 90.26% 255,234 9.72% 2,114,575 422,915
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows KIM with a Net Buy Volume of 3,072,716 shares and a Friction Factor of 768,179 shares. That means that it takes 768,179 more shares of buying than selling to move KIM higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
