November 18, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 5524 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2889 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3021 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Friday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Signal Genetics Inc. (NASDAQ:SGNL), NEUTRAL TANDEM INC (NASDAQ:TNDM), Galena Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ:RXII), BioAmber Inc. (NYSE:BIOA), Keek Inc. (OTC:KEEKF), AXIM Biotechnologies Inc. (OTC:AXIM). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  SGNL $2.990 0.42% 284,339 30.96% 283,976 30.93% 363 1
  TNDM $0.450 0.20% 1,847,164 39.42% 1,730,534 36.93% 116,630 2,592
  RXII $0.270 0.21% 100,790 50.04% 56,853 28.22% 43,937 1,627
  BIOA $0.800 0.16% 377,240 45.18% 324,478 38.86% 52,762 660
  KEEKF $0.197 0.19% 66,959 61.98% 40,453 37.45% 26,506 1,347
  AXIM $1.390 0.21% 146,849 46.23% 144,047 45.35% 2,802 20
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows SGNL with a dollar gain Friday of $2.99000 and a Friction Factor of 1 shares. That means that it only took 1 more shares of buying than selling to move SGNL higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
