Sama Resources Initiates 3,300 Line/km Airborne Geophysical Survey

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 11, 2012) -Sama Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SME) ("Sama" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has commenced a 3,300 line/kilometre airborne helicopter time domain electromagnetic and magnetic survey (the "HTEM Survey") over the Company's Samapleu Project and Bounta Ridge area in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. The HTEM survey area will be flown at 100-metre/line and 200-metre/line spacing and is being conducted by Fugro Airborne Surveys (Pty) Ltd. of South Africa.

The HTEM Survey will assist Sama with its geological interpretation of the entire Samapleu Project and Bounta Ridge area. The HTEM Survey is aimed at targeting new sectors with the potential for additional nickel-copper sulphide mineralization from surface to several hundred metres at depth.

The Samapleu Project in Côte d'Ivoire is currently in its exploration phase. Any future production will be managed by a joint venture controlled 66 2/3% by Sama Nickel Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, and 33 1/3% by Société pour le Développement Minier de Côte d'Ivoire.
