The company, through its subsidiary, China Water & Drinks, Inc., engages in the manufacture and sale of bottled water products in the Peoples Republic of China. Heckmann Corporation, through its other subsidiary, Heckmann Water Resources Corporation, engages in the saltwater disposal, treatment, and pipeline transportation businesses in Texas and Louisiana that serve customers to dispose saltwater and frac fluid generated in the oil and gas operations. As of March 11, 2010, it operated a 50 mile pipeline in the Haynesville Shale in east Texas and northwest Louisiana. In addition, the company holds approximately 7% of equity in Underground Solutions, Inc., a water infrastructure and pipeline company located in Poway, California; and an investment in China Bottles, Inc., a bottle equipment manufacturing company in China. Heckmann Corporation is headquartered in Palm Desert, California.
