Vantex Prepares a Drilling Campaign on Cookie Monster, Near the Monster Lake Discovery
LA PRAIRIE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 19, 2012) - The management of Vantex Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:VAX)(FRANKFURT:UD7A)(ALPHA:VAX) announces an initial 1,500-meter drilling campaign on the Cookie Monster project. The property is also West of the Murgor property.

In the area of the Fancamp deformation corridor, which is known on many dozens of kilometres, there are many gold deposits and showings, namely:
. Monster Lake - | 237.6 g/t Au over 5.7 metres (Drill hole M-12-60 / PR April 11, 2012) |
76.53 g/t Au over 2 metres (Drill hole M-24-11- PR August 16, 2011)
8.38 g/t Au over 2 metres (Drill hole M-36-11- PR August 16, 2011)
. Murgor A et B - | 45.76 g/t Au over 6.10 metres (GM 29936- channel - PR July 30, 2009) |
12.70 g/t Au over 3 metres (DDH M5 - Drill hole - PR July 30, 2009)
. Murgor C - | 4.17 g/t Au over 3 metres (GM 51718- Drill hole) |
. Chevrier - | 8.3 million mt at 2.28 g/t Au (GM 52088) |
. Chevrier South - | 230 million mt at 0.3 g/t Au (GM 55029) |

In the south-west extension of the property, lies the Opawica-Guercheville deformation zone which contains the important Obatogameau Fault. Many gold deposits and showings can also be found in this area, namely the Philibert deposits (1.4 million mt @ 5.32 g/t Au - DV-93-01), Lac Meston (1.225 million mt @ 6.35 g/t Au - MB-89-17) or the former Joe Mann Mine (1.52 million mt @ 11 g/t Au - GM 44408)
Most of the structures that intersect the Fancamp deformation corridor generate numerous gold exploration targets. The management of the company is completing a structural, geological and geophysical compilation of the property. This data will be used to identify the first drilling targets.
