CALGARY, Aug. 26, 2011 /CNW/ - Yangarra Resources Ltd. ("Yangarra" or "the Company") (TSXV: YGR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Evaskevich, B.Mgt, as Vice President, Corporate Development and Joe Daigle as Manager, Operations.
Grant Evaskevich has been with Yangarra Resources Ltd. since 2005 serving initially as Controller and for the past five years as Operations Manager. Prior to joining Yangarra, he was CFO at TriOil Ltd. and prior to that a contract operator with Penn West Petroleum Ltd. Grant has successfully completed all requirements of the Executive MBA Program and will receive his Master of Business Administration degree in October 2011 from The Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario) and holds a Bachelor of Management (Finance, with Distinction) from the University of Lethbridge. Grant will be a key member of Yangarra's executive team and will be responsible for advancing corporate initiatives and strategic business growth, as well as continuing to coordinate lease and pipeline acquisition and preparation for the Company.
Joe Daigle has over 30 years of operations experience most recently as field foreman with Orion Oil & Gas Corporation and prior to that production superintendent with Geocan Energy Inc. Joe will be responsible for leading all production related operations at the Company focusing on production optimization and operating cost reduction.
