VANCOUVER, July 13, 2011 /CNW/ - Focus Ventures Ltd. (TSXV: FCV) is pleased to report that diamond drilling has started at the Santa Rosa Ag-Pb-Zn project, located approximately 100km north of Lima, Peru. A minimum 2,000m is planned.

The first phase of drilling will test the potential for a significant silver-zinc-lead resource underneath the Santa Rosa and Milagros-Sally mine workings. The initial series of holes will be drilled to depths of approximately 250m in a fan arrangement from drill platforms adjacent to the deposit. The property is undrilled.
