Xcellink International Inc. : Xcellink Authenticates Issue of Canadian Patent for Mobile Commerce Payment System

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - September 8, 2009) - Xcellink International Inc. (OTCBB: [ XCEL ]), an advanced platform-independent developer of customer-centric payment systems and methodologies, today confirmed that it has been issued Canadian Patent 2,264,048, which is essentially identical to the already granted U.S. Patent # 7024385 titled 'Automated Electronic Funds Transfer System and Method,' which covers the automated data interchange to achieve transactions between customers (buyers) and merchants (sellers) over local wired or wireless links.

This provides Xcellink International Inc. with uniform Patent protection across the whole of North America, facilitating a continent-wide opportunity to allow providers of payments services who wish to automate consumer-based management systems with the use of a local link (such as Bluetooth, Infrared, Wi-Fi, WiMax and NFC (Near Field Communication)) with a single license arrangement for the Xcellink method.
