April 27, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5430 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2629 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3249 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA), PBF Energy Inc. (NYSE:PBF), Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO), DBX ETF Shs db X-trackers MSCI Europe Hedged Equity Fund (NYSE:DBEU), Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (NYSE:HPE), Natl Bank Greece Shs Sponsored American Deposit Receipt Repr 1 Sh (PINK:NBGGY). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  CMCSA $1.060 0.03% 13,361,702 39.00% 9,861,392 28.78% 3,500,310 33,022
  PBF $0.180 0.01% 11,556,188 41.37% 5,901,071 21.12% 5,655,117 314,173
  CSCO $0.390 0.01% 10,017,997 38.32% 7,343,451 28.09% 2,674,546 68,578
  DBEU $0.060 0.00% 3,470,345 61.08% 774,598 13.63% 2,695,747 449,291
  HPE $0.020 0.00% 7,747,821 47.70% 2,830,271 17.43% 4,917,550 2,458,775
  NBGGY $0.022 0.08% 5,556,895 73.26% 1,746,865 23.03% 3,810,030 1,731,832
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CMCSA with a Net Buy Volume of 3,500,310 shares and a Friction Factor of 33,022 shares. That means that it takes 33,022 more shares of buying than selling to move CMCSA higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
