April 3, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5526 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2112 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3808 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Boston Scientific Corporation (NYSE:BSX), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), SPDR Barclays Capital International Treasury Bond ETF (NYSE:BWX), PowerShares Preferred Portfolio (NYSE:PGX), MMEX MINING CORP (OTC:MMEX). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  PFE $0.030 0.00% 7,816,495 37.93% 5,149,024 24.99% 2,667,471 889,157
  BSX $0.050 0.00% 4,441,203 42.26% 2,404,440 22.88% 2,036,763 407,353
  GDX $0.380 0.02% 22,132,888 47.32% 12,811,938 27.39% 9,320,950 245,288
  BWX $0.080 0.00% 3,926,664 55.36% 1,949,263 27.48% 1,977,401 247,175
  PGX $0.130 0.01% 7,970,978 47.80% 4,375,491 26.24% 3,595,487 276,576
  MMEX $0.025 0.89% 88,144,602 50.44% 86,295,565 49.38% 1,849,037 739,615
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE with a Net Buy Volume of 2,667,471 shares and a Friction Factor of 889,157 shares. That means that it takes 889,157 more shares of buying than selling to move PFE higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
