February 15, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5416 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3605 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2518 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM), Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO), KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY), Itau Unibanco Holding S.A. (NYSE:ITUB), SINGLEPOINT INC. (OTC:SING). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  PFE $0.760 0.02% 16,905,040 37.20% 11,936,879 26.27% 4,968,161 65,371
  XOM $0.340 0.00% 5,189,642 44.13% 2,240,646 19.05% 2,948,996 86,735
  CSCO $0.340 0.01% 16,662,233 41.34% 12,987,732 32.22% 3,674,501 108,074
  KEY $0.230 0.01% 5,973,271 40.27% 3,887,032 26.20% 2,086,239 90,706
  ITUB $0.400 0.03% 7,389,474 42.29% 5,286,497 30.26% 2,102,977 52,574
  SING $0.015 0.26% 12,202,211 64.71% 6,644,733 35.24% 5,557,478 3,832,743
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE with a Net Buy Volume of 4,968,161 shares and a Friction Factor of 65,371 shares. That means that it takes 65,371 more shares of buying than selling to move PFE higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
