January 4, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5242 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4989 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1479 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bearish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices dropped. AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), IDEXX Laboratories Inc. (NASDAQ:IDXX), Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD), Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A. (NYSE:BBVA). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  T $-0.300 -0.01% 9,714,163 37.12% 6,411,480 24.50% 3,302,683 Abnormal
  AAPL $-0.130 -0.00% 7,408,454 35.57% 5,134,741 24.65% 2,273,713 Abnormal
  MSFT $-0.270 -0.00% 7,417,538 37.23% 4,777,198 23.98% 2,640,340 Abnormal
  IDXX $-1.650 -0.01% 9,804,957 47.67% 2,747,115 13.36% 7,057,842 Abnormal
  AMD $-0.030 -0.00% 17,306,449 42.64% 14,364,458 35.39% 2,941,991 Abnormal
  BBVA $-0.040 -0.01% 4,678,752 65.28% 1,146,985 16.00% 3,531,767 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more buying than selling on Wednesday and their stock prices dropped. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows T with 3,302,683 greater shares of buying than selling (NetVol) and the stock price was down $-0.30000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more buying than selling should cause prices to rise.
