December 6, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5350 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4042 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2271 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT), Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLP), Globus Medical Inc. (NYSE:GMED), iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond Fund (NYSE:HYG). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $0.200 0.01% 28,326,983 36.09% 23,513,095 29.96% 4,813,888 240,694
  MT $0.180 0.02% 12,493,676 44.86% 8,703,394 31.25% 3,790,282 210,571
  BAC $0.320 0.02% 45,261,856 37.94% 41,250,484 34.58% 4,011,372 125,355
  XLP $0.110 0.00% 8,003,492 39.20% 3,366,215 16.49% 4,637,277 421,571
  GMED $0.300 0.01% 7,616,383 75.79% 985,659 9.81% 6,630,724 221,024
  HYG $0.430 0.01% 6,984,542 42.32% 3,503,136 21.23% 3,481,406 80,963
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF with a Net Buy Volume of 4,813,888 shares and a Friction Factor of 240,694 shares. That means that it takes 240,694 more shares of buying than selling to move XLF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
