November 4, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 5541 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2568 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3269 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bullish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices rose. Health Care Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLV), Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), General Electric Company (NYSE:GE), Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE:FCX), Corning Inc. (NYSE:GLW), MONACO COACH CP (OTC:MCOA). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLV $0.600 0.01% 4,924,189 21.66% 7,901,598 34.75% -2,977,409 Abnormal
  BAC $0.090 0.01% 23,713,299 29.63% 28,856,273 36.06% -5,142,974 Abnormal
  GE $0.130 0.01% 9,516,467 27.59% 12,876,060 37.33% -3,359,593 Abnormal
  FCX $0.340 0.03% 8,101,854 29.34% 11,679,248 42.30% -3,577,394 Abnormal
  GLW $0.070 0.00% 2,721,867 15.02% 12,296,330 67.87% -9,574,463 Abnormal
  MCOA $0.014 0.11% 16,032,654 41.85% 22,077,210 57.63% -6,044,556 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more selling than buying on Friday and their stock prices rose. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLV with 2,977,409 greater shares of selling than buying (NetVol) and the stock price was up $0.60000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more selling than buying should cause prices to drop.
