October 5, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5581 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3800 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2220 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Health Care Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLV), Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), Flowers Foods Inc (NYSE:FLO), Community Health Systems Inc. (NYSE:CYH), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLV $0.270 0.00% 6,097,704 41.07% 2,070,946 13.95% 4,026,758 149,139
  CHK $0.430 0.07% 23,506,292 39.67% 15,793,812 26.66% 7,712,480 179,360
  FLO $0.090 0.01% 6,702,658 71.66% 1,242,600 13.28% 5,460,058 606,673
  CYH $0.310 0.03% 9,808,084 73.43% 1,366,440 10.23% 8,441,644 272,311
  GDX $0.170 0.01% 45,360,767 39.25% 20,516,620 17.75% 24,844,147 1,461,420
  GDXJ $0.330 0.01% 7,718,094 42.91% 3,204,679 17.82% 4,513,415 136,770
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLV with a Net Buy Volume of 4,026,758 shares and a Friction Factor of 149,139 shares. That means that it takes 149,139 more shares of buying than selling to move XLV higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
