October 4, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5536 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1915 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3993 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ:SYMC), US Bancorp (NYSE:USB), Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU), American Capital Ltd. (NASDAQ:ACAS), Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  PFE $0.040 0.00% 7,948,591 38.27% 5,719,430 27.54% 2,229,161 557,290
  SYMC $0.140 0.01% 2,711,916 37.69% 1,756,759 24.41% 955,157 68,226
  USB $0.190 0.01% 2,821,340 33.87% 1,998,351 23.99% 822,989 43,315
  MU $0.170 0.01% 14,724,931 31.12% 13,771,924 29.10% 953,007 56,059
  ACAS $0.050 0.00% 1,468,629 49.89% 423,188 14.38% 1,045,441 209,088
  AMD $0.020 0.00% 8,677,832 33.81% 7,817,698 30.46% 860,134 430,067
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE with a Net Buy Volume of 2,229,161 shares and a Friction Factor of 557,290 shares. That means that it takes 557,290 more shares of buying than selling to move PFE higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
