Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. iSh 20+Y Trs Bd Shs (NASDAQ:TLT), Ascent Solar Technologies Inc. (OTC:ASTI), AVATAR VENTURES CORP (OTC:ATAR), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), United States Oil Fund, LP (NYSE:USO), EnteroMedics Inc. (NASDAQ:ETRM). Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction TLT $0.800 0.01% 4,113,711 48.10% 2,131,904 24.93% 1,981,807 24,773 ASTI $0.013 0.79% 22,573,078 54.98% 18,450,650 44.94% 4,122,428 3,271,768 ATAR $0.050 1.25% 4,236,932 71.80% 1,644,074 27.86% 2,592,858 517,537 AAPL $0.290 0.00% 11,071,624 38.12% 8,490,024 29.23% 2,581,600 89,021 USO $0.220 0.02% 18,750,280 43.44% 17,313,372 40.11% 1,436,908 65,314 ETRM $0.010 0.10% 5,082,875 44.26% 3,067,771 26.72% 2,015,104 2,015,104Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.
For example, the chart above shows TLT with a Net Buy Volume of 1,981,807 shares and a Friction Factor of 24,773 shares. That means that it takes 24,773 more shares of buying than selling to move TLT higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
