September 24, 2012 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. On Monday there were 4088 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2171 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3322 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. DELTA AIR LINES INC (NYSE:DAL), Paid Inc (OTCBB:PAYD), The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO), American International Group Inc (NYSE:AIG), JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM), TD Ameritrade Holding Corp (NASDAQ:AMTD). Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction DAL $0.060 0.67% 3,084,772 37.81% 2,338,738 28.67% 746,034 124,339 PAYD $0.019 38.00% 1,022,142 79.38% 265,484 20.62% 756,658 398,241 KO $0.080 0.21% 9,573,848 44.17% 4,781,949 22.06% 4,791,899 598,987 AIG $0.270 0.80% 6,820,892 38.55% 4,952,009 27.99% 1,868,883 69,218 JPM $0.380 0.93% 6,854,400 33.68% 5,379,057 26.43% 1,475,343 38,825 AMTD $0.090 0.56% 2,723,039 41.48% 1,488,830 22.68% 1,234,209 137,134Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.
For example, the chart above shows DAL with a Net Buy Volume of 746,034 shares and a Friction Factor of 124,339 shares. That means that it takes 124,339 more shares of buying than selling to move DAL higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
