The Transportation Systems segment includes transportation engineering and consulting services that are focused on the planning, design, development, and implementation of software-based systems that integrate sensors, video surveillance, computers, and advanced communications equipment to enable public agencies to monitor, control, and direct traffic flow; assisting the dispatch of crews; and distribution of real-time information about traffic conditions. This segment involves in the development of transportation management and traveler information systems for the ITS industry.
