Delphi Energy Corp. Announces Closing of $30 Million Public Offering
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 23, 2011) -

Delphi Energy Corp. (TSX:DEE) ("Delphi" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the closing of the sale of 10,005,000 common shares ("Common Shares") at a price of $2.20 per share, including the over-allotment option, and 2,900,000 Common Shares issued on a "flow-through basis" under the Income Tax Act (Canada) at a price of $2.75 per share (the "Offering") for total gross proceeds of approximately $30 million.
The Offering was underwritten by a syndicate of underwriters led by Stifel Nicolaus Canada Inc., and included National Bank Financial Inc., Peters & Co. Limited, Scotia Capital Inc. and CIBC World Markets Inc.
Proceeds of the Offering will be used to fund Delphi's Montney development program at Bigstone and for general corporate purposes.
Delphi Energy is a Calgary-based company that explores, develops and produces oil and natural gas in Western Canada. The Company is managed by a proven technical team. Delphi trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol DEE.
