December 5, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 4007 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3776 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2257 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Monday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. ATLANTIC COAST FINANCIAL COR (NASDAQ:ACFC), CYTODYN INC (OTC:CYDY), SINO CLEAN ENERGY INC (OTC:SCEI), SUCCESSFACTORS INC (NASDAQ:SFSF), ATHERSYS INC (NASDAQ:ATHX), IGO INC (NASDAQ:IGOI). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     ACFC $0.790 45.14% 75,171 51.12% 71,888 48.88% 3,283 42
     CYDY $0.800 29.09% 84,756 42.43% 62,767 31.42% 21,989 275
     SCEI $0.300 27.27% 805,254 58.45% 572,354 41.55% 232,900 7,763
     SFSF $13.450 51.24% 34,770,730 36.63% 30,574,438 32.21% 4,196,292 3,120
     ATHX $0.600 36.14% 460,481 49.09% 456,956 48.71% 3,525 59
     IGOI $0.220 24.57% 354,666 58.24% 253,420 41.61% 101,246 4,602
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows ACFC with a dollar gain Monday of $0.79000 and a Friction Factor of 42 shares. That means that it only took 42 more shares of buying than selling to move ACFC higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
