Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction BP $0.150 0.34% 3,948,511 49.58% 1,750,075 21.97% 2,198,436 146,562 BSX $0.030 0.52% 10,057,933 32.24% 7,461,248 23.92% 2,596,685 865,562 GE $0.010 0.06% 14,396,887 35.09% 9,901,774 24.13% 4,495,113 4,495,113 S $0.050 1.79% 16,127,209 39.78% 13,342,355 32.91% 2,784,854 556,971 YHOO $0.450 2.95% 14,464,728 59.32% 9,635,578 39.52% 4,829,150 107,314 FTR $0.180 3.18% 5,714,530 45.75% 2,879,586 23.05% 2,834,944 157,497Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.
For example, the chart above shows BP with a Net Buy Volume of 2,198,436 shares and a Friction Factor of 146,562 shares. That means that it takes 146,562 more shares of buying than selling to move BP higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
