


TORONTO, Aug. 2, 2011 /CNW/ - Corsa Coal Corp. ("Corsa") (TSXV: CSO) announces that it successfully commenced mining operations on July 28, 2011 at its Casselman underground mine. The first truckloads of coal from the mine have been shipped to, and successfully processed at, the Company's coal preparation plant in Somerset County, PA.
Don Charter, President and CEO stated "The successfully commencement of our first underground mining operation marks another milestone in the build out of our business. The first coal has been processed at our plant and we expect a quick ramp up to full production levels at this mine. Our operations team is to be complimented on achieving such a quick start up."
