June 14, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 4450 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4707 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2581 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS INC (NASDAQ:LVLT), DELL INC (NASDAQ:DELL), SIRIUS XM RADIO INC (NASDAQ:SIRI), INTERNATIONAL COAL GROUP INC (NYSE:ICO), TELEKOM AUSTRIA AG (OTC:TKMAF), JA SOLAR HOLDINGS CO LTD-ADR (NASDAQ:JASO). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     LVLT $0.040 1.82% 12,971,907 55.31% 10,432,699 44.49% 2,539,208 634,802
     DELL $0.300 1.90% 16,100,229 54.90% 13,168,467 44.90% 2,931,762 97,725
     SIRI $0.050 2.62% 37,417,397 57.02% 29,177,363 44.47% 8,240,034 1,648,007
     ICO $0.030 0.21% 5,602,550 56.38% 2,651,142 26.68% 2,951,408 983,803
     TKMAF $0.040 0.29% 21,025,000 65.65% 11,000,000 34.35% 10,025,000 2,506,250
     JASO $0.240 4.69% 7,583,831 59.93% 5,073,757 40.09% 2,510,074 104,586
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows LVLT with a Net Buy Volume of 2,539,208 shares and a Friction Factor of 634,802 shares. That means that it takes 634,802 more shares of buying than selling to move LVLT higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
